Festool Kapex KS 120 REB-DC15 Dust Collection System

Upgrade your Festool Kapex KS 120 REB with the DC15 Dust Collection System. A precision engineered design to dramatically improve dust collection and keep your workspace clean. Includes the Dust Recirculation Adapter for connecting a recirculating hose to the saw's dust port, compatible with standard dust extraction hoses and the Festool D 27 hose. Also features 3D printed zero-clearance throat plate, made from durable ASA fillament for long-lasting precision, smooth cuts, and minimal wear over time. The Festool Kapex dust apron must be removed before installing the DC15. Comes with mounting screws and can be installed using your original Festool Kapex throat plate screws.

Reducing Kickback

The adjustable shroud is designed to improve both safety and dust collection performance. By reducing the opening around the blade, create an additional point of contact to fence the stock from traveling behind the blade reducing the likelihood of kickback. The adjustable shroud directing debris collected beneath the throat plate back into the dust collection system. The insert features two adjustable positions for crosscuts(pulled out) and miter cuts(pushed in). 

DC15 is built to help manage unexpected material movement and provide greater control through the cut. The DC15 alone cannot eliminate kickback, as kickback can result from a combination of factors during operation. Its purpose is to add another layer of control.

The DC15 kit includes every component needed for a complete dust-collection upgrade:

• Dust Channel – The main airflow housing the blade and forcing air turbulence through the system.

• Adjustable Shroud – Moves with your miters to help seal gaps and direct dust into the channel.

• Zero-Clearance Throat Plate – Replaces the factory throat plate for cleaner cuts and improved dust capture.

• Throat Collector – Sits below the blade to pull in fine dust directly at the cut.

• Dust Recirculation Adapter - A plug-in dust port adapter that allows a recirculating hose to connect directly to the miter saw's existing dust extraction port.

• 1" Vacuum Hose - Pre-greased hose to recirculate sawdust into the miter saw's dust extraction port.

• Hardware - M4 screws to assemble the dust collection system
